Furøy camping is beautifully situatued close to Kystriksveien - RV17 (The Coastal Route), just by ferry dock in Halsa, Meløy municipality. The campsite lies in close distance to popular attractions like Svartisen and Glomfjord kraftverk. In addition it is the perfect starting point for sightseeing and fishing in the fantastic surrounding archipelago, were you are almost guaranteed to catch some. The region is known for a dense population of sea eagles and a good variety of fish species. Accommodation The campsite has 8 large high standard cabins, and 11 smaller cabins of modest standard. At the caravansite we have room for 35 motorhomes / camping trailers - all spaces with power outlets. In addition we rent out rooms and have a vast tent area. At the campsite you will also find a dump station and a water station. Fishing and boat rental Meløy is truly fantastic if you enjoy fishing. In the fjords and the archipelago you may fish after a broad varity of species, and you are guaranteed not to get on land empty handed. At the campsite you may rent boats with sonar and sequrity equipment, in addition we offer a wide selection of fishing gear/rods for sale and rent. You may also borrow a fridge during your stay at the campsite.. To make it easier to explore the area, we have made a fish map as a guide to the very best fishing spots.
